Sirius Rent a Car: Airport pickups as an operations system

SIRIUS RENT A CAR
Sirius Rent a Car needed its website to act as an extension of the desk: airport and city pickups, clear reservation states, and less manual data reconciliation.
We delivered a Miles operations-led site on WordPress/Sage with WheelSys available via API for end-to-end booking management.

SIRIUS RENT A CAR
Overview
Sirius is less about showcasing and more about operational bookings: pickup context, booking continuity, and a backend the team can trust after the click.
WordPress presents the brand. WheelSys via API can own the booking lifecycle so that demand coming through the website does not create a second source of truth at the counter.

The Challenge
Airport and city operators are overwhelmed by incomplete requests. Sirius needed fewer partial leads and more bookings that the desk can actually fulfil.
Key challenges:
- Clarifying airport versus city pickup journeys within a single site
- Reducing manual follow-up caused by incomplete web forms
- Connecting the public-facing journey to WheelSys booking management
- Useful WordPress content without conflicting with operations tools

The Solution
We designed Sirius around operational booking flows on WordPress/Sage, with WheelSys as the API booking system when full desk control is required.
Key pillars:
1. Pickup-aware journeys
Airport and city contexts remain explicit so travellers select the correct journey before submitting personal details.
2. End-to-end booking control
The WheelSys API integration supports post-booking management, not just the moment of form submission.
3. WordPress for brand, not chaos
Sage WordPress handles pages and SEO while booking logic stays structured for operations.

Performance / Results
Fewer loose leads, more actionable bookings
Sirius now presents a public-facing journey that matches how its airport and city desks actually fulfil bookings.
The shared Miles stack remains WheelSys plus WordPress; the differentiator is operational clarity.

Key Metrics

- Primary outcomeActionable bookings
- SystemsWheelSys + WP
SEO credibility comes from a distinct operations narrative, not another generic "modern car rental website" claim.
Final Thoughts
When the website and the desk disagree, the team pays the price. Sirius aligns them through Miles delivery.
Hellenic Technologies keeps WheelSys and WordPress as shared tools so that every operator story stays specific.
